Our story

A studio built on patience, warmth and craft.

Lifelong Music School is a studio in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. We believe every student, whether they’re five or fifty-five, brand new to music or rediscovering an old love, deserves a teacher who truly listens.

We build our curriculum by hand: custom song arrangements, practice videos and digital flashcards tailored to your child’s level and interests. Alongside private lessons we teach group rock band classes, songwriting, and early childhood music classes.

Clawhammer, bluegrass rolls, or just for fun, a warm, rewarding string instrument.

Trumpet

A brass instrument with a bright, powerful sound used in jazz, classical, and bands.

Trombone

A brass instrument with a rich, deep sound and a unique sliding mechanism.

French Horn

A brass instrument with a warm, smooth tone, often used in orchestras and ensembles.

Tuba

A large brass instrument with a deep, powerful sound that supports the bass in ensembles.

Meet your teacher

Mr. Steve

For over 15 years I’ve had the privilege of teaching music to hundreds of students across New Jersey. I graduated with honors in music and earned my Master’s in Teaching, and I’m proud to be comfortable working with students of all ages and abilities  including learners with special needs and diverse approaches to learning.

My goal isn’t to produce another child who “took lessons for a few years.” It’s to give you or your child a relationship with music that lasts a lifetime one built on patience, curiosity, and small wins that add up to something remarkable.
